PREMADE POUCH MACHINE

A premade pouch machine replaces roll film with finished pouches, freeing pouch style, zipper and print quality from the bag former — which suits higher-value products. The QJ series uses an eight-station carousel that runs pick-up, coding, opening, filling, sealing and discharge continuously at 30–60 packs per minute, with 100–200 mm bag width and 150–300 mm bag length as the standard range.

Dosing is the key variable: granules use a multihead weigher or volumetric cup, powders a screw feeder, liquids a piston pump or flow meter, and changing the dosing module changes the product. Where vacuum or gas flushing is needed, the multi-lane QJ-GD170 evacuates and seals in one cycle down to 200 Pa, which suits coffee, nuts and pet food.

Selection guide

WHAT TO DECIDE FIRST

Fix the pouch style
Stand-up, zipper and flat pouches use different opening and sealing stations; zipper pouches need a zipper sealing station.
Choose the dosing method
Weighing for granules, auger for powders, pump for liquids — dosing accuracy drives packaging cost directly.
Decide vacuum or flushing
A vacuum version adds an evacuation chamber and longer sealing dwell, cutting output by around thirty percent.
Check the pouch laminate
Laminates, foil and paper/PE have different sealing windows, so send pouch samples for a trial.

FAQ

Can it seal zipper pouches?

Yes, with a zipper sealing station and matching opening cups; the zipper position must be allowed for when the pouch is made.

What pouch sizes are supported?

Normally 100–200 mm wide and 150–300 mm long; the multi-lane vacuum type runs 60–100 mm wide and 100–170 mm long.

How does the vacuum version differ?

It adds an evacuation chamber, longer sealing dwell and more station time, giving a tighter pack at lower output.

Can it connect to a metal detector and cartoner?

Yes, signal interfaces at the discharge link it to both.

What is the lead time?
