Series overview

SHRINK WRAPPING MACHINE

Shrink wrapping wraps the product in film and shrinks it with hot air, producing a fully closed pack that displays well and resists moisture and tampering. QJ-SS 450/800 pairs a high-speed side-seal cutter with a shrink tunnel; the blade is temperature controlled so the seal line is fine and strong. The 450 handles parts up to 300 mm, and the 800 takes items up to 500 × 340 mm.

Where the line must connect to cartoning and case packing, sealer, tunnel, labeller and cartoner are run as one line paced by the main PLC, which avoids the build-up or starvation that comes from mismatched section speeds.

Selection guide

WHAT TO DECIDE FIRST

Measure the pack first
Length, width and height set film width and tunnel size; the 450 suits parts under 300 mm and the 800 large items.
Choose the film
POF shrinks more and is clearer; PE is tougher for heavy parts, and the two need different tunnel curves.
Fix the sealing method
Side sealing suits continuous long items, L-sealing suits single trays — pick by product shape.
Plan the line
Cartoning, labelling and case packing decide conveyor height and signal interfaces.

POF or PE?

POF is clear with high shrinkage for display packs; PE is stronger and cheaper for heavy and industrial items.

What tunnel power is needed?

The 450 uses a 2.6 kW sealer with a 15 kW tunnel; the 800 uses 2.8 kW with 18 kW.

Can a labeller be added?

Yes, labelling and coding can be fitted at the tunnel exit, synchronised with the main line.

How is film consumption estimated?

Take the developed area of the pack plus 15–25% allowance; the trial run gives the final figure.

What is the lead time?

30–45 days, with linked lines quoted by configuration.
