PILLOW-TYPE FLOW WRAPPER

The pillow-type wrapper is the most versatile wrapping machine available: changing product on a line is a matter of changing parameters. The Qianjia QJ-260/350/450/600/800 uses three servos for film feed, sealing and conveyor, so bag length and width are set on the touch screen and the gear and cam changes of conventional machines disappear.

Film direction is chosen to suit the product. Upper film feed handles light, loose items; lower film feed suits heavier products that need support. For fragile or shaped items a reciprocating end sealer with adjustable dwell is available, and small items such as chocolates run on a high-speed machine at up to 600 packs per minute.

Selection guide

WHAT TO DECIDE FIRST

Start with the largest product
Film width sets the range: 260 mm for small items up to 800 mm for large trays.
Choose the film direction
Upper feed for light and loose products, lower feed for heavier ones that need support; they are not simply interchangeable.
Decide the end seal
Rotary sealing suits continuous production; reciprocating sealing is for fragile, shaped or long-dwell requirements.
Check film and gas flushing
The laminate sets the sealing window; add nitrogen flushing or vacuum extraction when shelf life matters.

How wide a product can it wrap?

Film width decides, and the series covers 260–800 mm in five steps. Wider formats are quoted as custom machines.

Can it flush nitrogen?

Yes, with a flushing kit and gas mixer, keeping residual oxygen below 2%.

What film does it use?

Heat-sealable roll film such as OPP/CPP, PET/AL/PE and paper/PE laminates. Send a film sample so the sealing window can be confirmed.

How long is a format change?

Bag length and width are set on the touch screen and the former adjusted — normally under ten minutes.

Can it link to upstream equipment?

Yes, through signal interfaces with multihead weighers, feed conveyors and metal detectors.
